In light of Carney’s decision to build a pan-regional electrical corridor, I did a Google search to find out what transmission towers and lines are made of. It turns out the towers are made of steel, but the transmission lines are made of something called Aluminium-conductor steel-reinforced cable (ACSR). This will provide employment for those workers in the steel and aluminum industries that would otherwise lose their jobs to tariffs.

My primary goal is of course the pursuit of agronomic knowledge and wisdom. But as I mentioned once before, I will also be quietly watching to see if any participants come here from Canada. Normally the second largest country-source of attendees after the US itself is Canada, from which come quite a few people. So I have been wondering whether honoring the boycott would go deep enough to where the normal Acres participants from Canada would be staying away.
So far I have seen a participant from northern Alberta who has come for many years
is here. So are 5 other farmers from that same northern Alberta region, as well as 2 farmers from Montreal. I will see if I just happen to notice others here starting tomorrow itself and beyond.
I have not asked, nor will I be asking, whether they are supporting and honoring the boycott otherwise except for this special knowledge-acquisition mission. There were no notices that my comments had been removed let alone a notice that I had violated any you tube policy. Apparently that is making those forests more super-flammable in the event of drought, heat and then ignition. Or so one of the experts told us. And another expert told us that the Roundup formulation sold in Canada has twice as much glyphosate in it per unit volume as the Roundup formulation sold in America.
If that is true, then Canada is in some real danger from within. Perhaps some of the Canadian readers could say whether those experts I heard from are correct or incorrect about that.

One of the presenters said that a half-billion pounds of glyphosate are used in year on American farmland, and another half-billion pounds of glyphosate are used on American forestland. Yesterday someone had said that huge amounts of glyphosate are used on Canadian forestland. Today one of the presenters said that the formulation of Roundup legal for sale in Canada has twice as much glyphosate in it per unit volume as the amount of glyphosate per unit volume of the Roundup permitted in America. If that is true, then Canada has a problem
And lets remember that “Monsanto” is not an American company anymore. It is a wholely owned piece of Bayer now. And Bayer is a CHURman company.
Professor Huber himself noted that Canadian forest managers have been hosing down forestland all over Nova Scotia (he said) with Roundup for some “forest-management” purpose or other. Well I have one comment about the report. Before that I must confess that I did skim through parts of the report so I might have missed things other than what I am going to mention.
One of the reccomendations that the report gives is to allow private enterprise the abilty to maximize economic output in the time that we have left. I was stunned that such a stupid reccommendation made it in to the report. WTF.
So, one recommendation that I have for next time around is that nations do not have a subordinate geographical sub divisions like provences, states, länder, or counties, parishes, or Kreise. The subdivisions should be along the lines of mission, not geography. For example a country should be divided up in to zohes that will be responsible for transportation with in their zone. Another set of zones would be divided up in to where to build schools. Another set of zones would be responsible for water and sewer services, and so on. All of these zones should have borders that overlap with other mission zones. The purpose of this system is to prevent a state or provence or group of states or provences from challenging the central government. Organizing a regional revolt would be more difficult if such measures were taken.
Like jury nullification this system would be a double edged sword. Sometimes a regional revolt could be a good thing.
But I think that overall it would reduce armed conflict because it would also make it harder for outside powers to drive a wedge in to a targeted country. Could I just be traumatized by the breakup of India, Yugoslavia, and the Iberian Peninsula? Comments are free and confedential.

Here I am in the beautiful Madison Marriott West Hotel, in the beautiful outskirts of beautiful downtown Middleton, Wisconsin ahead of the Acres USA Conference which begins tomorrow.
My primary goal is of course the pursuit of agronomic knowledge and wisdom. But as I mentioned once before, I will also be quietly watching to see if any participants come here from Canada. Normally the second largest country-source of attendees after the US itself is Canada, from which come quite a few people. So I have been wondering whether honoring the boycott would go deep enough to where the normal Acres participants from Canada would be staying away.
So far I have seen a participant from northern Alberta who has come for many years
is here. So are 5 other farmers from that same northern Alberta region, as well as 2 farmers from Montreal. I will see if I just happen to notice others here starting tomorrow itself and beyond.
I have not asked, nor will I be asking, whether they are supporting and honoring the boycott otherwise except for this special knowledge-acquisition mission. They have come all this way to learn more about most advanced agronomy specifically, and they did not come to be subjected to any politicrappy questions about anything else.
( I have also met one person here from England (( UK)) and some people from Germany. I expect there will be at least a couple-dozen Amish people here as well).
One particular thing I came here for among all the other things will be a 2-day seminar among 17 plant-soil-complex mineral-nutrition experts led by Professor Emeritus of Plant Pathology Don Huber of Purdue University. He has been key in sparking and driving the slow steady academic and public turn against GMOs in agriculture and against glyphosate in agriculture, both separately and together.

I just posted a Pro Russian comment and a pro July 20th comment on the you tube site, History Legends and a few minutes later my comments had been removed. There were no notices that my comments had been removed let alone a notice that I had violated any you tube policy. That shows how difficult it would be to try to organize any coordinated resistance in the collective west. Not that such comments would have much effect anyways as new comments come in on that site every few seconds so things will get buried quickly. But who knows how many similar comments have been made and been removed. And if there were a lot it people would notice how hated the policies of European leaders towards Russian are.
My comments were there and a few minutes later they were no longer there. I checked with two different devices.

I am impressed by the shear size of Mark Level’s comment. It reminds me of an ad I once saw on TV for an all-you-can-eat place called Swedish Country Kitchen or something like that. Speaking of which, I attended the “dangers of glyphosate” seminar talks today and I heard a couple of disturbing things. One was that the Canadian forestry authorities have been using Roundup in some of the forests of Canada to wipe out the broadleaf trees and shrubs to further favor the growth of lucrative spruce-pine-fir. Apparently that is making those forests more super-flammable in the event of drought, heat and then ignition. Or so one of the experts told us. And another expert told us that the Roundup formulation sold in Canada has twice as much glyphosate in it per unit volume as the Roundup formulation sold in America.
If that is true, then Canada is in some real danger from within. Perhaps some of the Canadian readers could say whether those experts I heard from are correct or incorrect about that.

Acres USA Conference Report: I met a couple of more Canadian conference attenders. Politics doesn’t come up. No one has raised it. One person was wearing a “Trump was Right About Everything” red shirt, but I pretended not to see it.
It was the second day of the multiperson seminar about glyphosate and etc. And other things too. How to remediate glypho residue in soil. How to remediate its even more dangerous and much more persistenc breakdown products in soil. And so forth. One of the presenters said that a half-billion pounds of glyphosate are used in year on American farmland, and another half-billion pounds of glyphosate are used on American forestland. Yesterday someone had said that huge amounts of glyphosate are used on Canadian forestland. Today one of the presenters said that the formulation of Roundup legal for sale in Canada has twice as much glyphosate in it per unit volume as the amount of glyphosate per unit volume of the Roundup permitted in America. If that is true, then Canada has a problem
And lets remember that “Monsanto” is not an American company anymore. It is a wholely owned piece of Bayer now. And Bayer is a CHURman company.
Professor Huber himself noted that Canadian forest managers have been hosing down forestland all over Nova Scotia (he said) with Roundup for some “forest-management” purpose or other. He said this is causing brain damage being covered up and dis-represented as a “mystery brain disease”. I tried search-engining it and this is the closest I could find.

My suspicious mind tells me that this disease is no mystery at all to the Canadian authorities. My suspicious mind tells me that the Canadian authorities know exactly that this is due to aerial forest land spraying Roundup exposure and they are just hoping to dis-direct from and coverup what they clearly know.

I really thought that the link that I posted above would really bring a lot of discussion on our confedential page. I am disappointed to see nothing up until now. The page is naked.
Well I have one comment about the report. Before that I must confess that I did skim through parts of the report so I might have missed things other than what I am going to mention.
One of the reccomendations that the report gives is to allow private enterprise the abilty to maximize economic output in the time that we have left. I was stunned that such a stupid reccommendation made it in to the report. WTF.
So, one recommendation that I have for next time around is that nations do not have a subordinate geographical sub divisions like provences, states, länder, or counties, parishes, or Kreise. The subdivisions should be along the lines of mission, not geography. For example a country should be divided up in to zohes that will be responsible for transportation with in their zone. Another set of zones would be divided up in to where to build schools. Another set of zones would be responsible for water and sewer services, and so on. All of these zones should have borders that overlap with other mission zones. The purpose of this system is to prevent a state or provence or group of states or provences from challenging the central government. Organizing a regional revolt would be more difficult if such measures were taken.
Like jury nullification this system would be a double edged sword. Sometimes a regional revolt could be a good thing.
But I think that overall it would reduce armed conflict because it would also make it harder for outside powers to drive a wedge in to a targeted country. Could I just be traumatized by the breakup of India, Yugoslavia, and the Iberian Peninsula? Comments are free and confedential.
