America is a Modern Death Cult

A Structural Analysis of Modern Nihilism and the Ritual of Sacrifice

America is no longer a functional republic. It is a Death Cult. By the numbers, by the policy, and by the psychological state of its citizenry, the United States has transitioned into a society that requires the ritualized sacrifice and cleansing of “Others” to validate its own existence and divine destiny.

    I. Americans = Death Cultists Accelerating the Rapture

The “Death Cult” label is not hyperbole. It is a statistical reality. When nearly 40% to 50% of the population believes in the Rapture and End Times — that the world must end, that the Others must die and suffer for their salvation to arrive — those people are Death Cultists.

    • The Rapture as Mass Casualty Event: The “End Times” belief is structurally identical to the belief systems of infamous suicide cults. The only differences are scale and normalization.

    • The Divine Abandonment: If 135 million people are waiting for a mass extinction event to take them to heaven, they are mentally unsound and morally corrupt. They do not want to fix the climate, the debt, or the infrastructure — they want the world to end so Jesus can come back and take them to heaven.

    • The “Others” as Kindling: This theology is inherently predatory. For the “Chosen” to ascend, the “Unsaved” (the other 80–90%) must suffer and die. This is not “faith.” It is a desire for a cosmic genocide of everyone who is not like them — unbelievers, the different, the “other” (not American, Christian, and white).

II. The Aztec Analogy: Ritualized State Violence

Modern America functions like the Aztec (Mexica) Empire — a theocratic machine that maintains “order” through the spectacle of blood and human sacrifice. The “High Priests” in Washington provide the violence, and the “Spectator Believers” provide the applause.

    • The Templo Mayor of 2026: The state-sanctioned violence we see today — the “double-tap” drone strikes on schools, the assassinations of foreign peace envoys and negotiators, and the parading of captured foreign leaders — are modern human sacrifices. They are designed to appease the bloodlust of American Exceptionalism.

    • The Function of the “Double-Tap”: Killing children and then killing first responders is not a “mistake.” It is a ritual of absolute dominance. It tells the death cultists that the “enemies” are subhuman, and their lives are merely fuel for the empire’s exceptionalism and survival.

    • The 2026 “Maduro Parade”: When US Special Forces abducted the Venezuelan leader and his wife and paraded them through New York streets, the public reaction was not a call for due process; it was a Roman-style triumph. The crowds cheering the “subjugation of the tyrant” mirrored Aztec citizens watching captured warriors being led to the stone.

    • The “Starvation Blockade” Rhetoric: The blockade of Cuba and the resulting famine on the island are discussed on cable news not as a humanitarian crisis, but as necessary. The public supports the slow death of millions because they view the island as “unsaved” territory.

III. The Spectator Citizenry: Passive Bloodlust

The most “evil” part of this cult is that it is normalized. The 40% of Americans who are not pulling the trigger or dropping the bombs are still the ones cheering from the base of the pyramid.

    • The “Friendly” Cultist: It does not matter if your American neighbor is “friendly,” “helpful,” “nice,” or “polite.” If they believe you deserve to die, burn in hell, or be “left behind” in a global tribulation so that they can go to heaven, their kindness is performative. They are waiting for your death to trigger their reward.

    • Consumerist Nihilism: Americans have become addicted to the “high” of watching the state inflict brutality. Americans watch “surgical strikes” on the news like the Aztecs watched hearts being pulled out — it provides a temporary sense of safety and “divine favor.”

    IV. The Path to Self-Destruction

A society that defines “winning” as the end of the world will eventually get what it wants.

    • Terminal Brittleness: Because America no longer invests in a long-term future, it is rotting from within. It is an empire with a “sell-by” date that its own citizens are trying to accelerate.

    • Global Pariah Status: Just as surrounding tribes eventually helped the Spanish burn Tenochtitlan to the ground, the rest of the world is realizing that a nuclear-armed Death Cult cannot be allowed to lead the global order.

    V. Conclusion: “Are We the Baddies?”

America is the first “Superpower Death Cult” in human history. It has normalized a worldview where Mass Death = Divine Victory. It has the technology of the 21st century but the sacrificial barbarism of the 15th-century Aztecs.

The civility is gone. Only the bloodlust for the End remains.

Here, from the Damnthat’s interesting subreddit, comes a 3,000 year old Egyptian foot prosthesis.

Don’t know why I’m relaying this but I am. I’ve executed many food events in many places both domestic and foreign, but this particular off the wall and obscure catering popped unbidden into my mind.
In the early nineties Boulder before the personal chef thing was a thing I advertised my services in the now defunct Boulder Daily Camera—at least I think it’s defunct, if not it should be.
I snared a gig or two among which was one for a group of hunter bros who wanted me to cook a feast using their slayed elk, duck goose and deer. Elk Diane stands out as one request. It’s a reduced cream sauce with mushrooms for the curious.
Anyway, I met the challenge at a private home where I prepped, cooked and served a culinary extravaganza.
It was an odd affair in many ways, but I pulled it off solo from A to Zet, and everyone was happy as I recall. I made Jack shit from it, which was typical of my culinary adventures. You do it and drink some wine and then it’s gone like the urine passed afterwards.
This recollection was spurred by reading an account of an exploration into the sacred lands of southern Tibet where the porters killed and roasted a wild creature called takin. It was a survival maneuver that had a spiritual overlay, at least in the telling.
Reflecting on my own experience of cooking slain wild animals, I could only label it profane and maybe even mercenary. Nothing to be proud of, and I can’t say why I’m confessing it here, but here it is. Namaste.

And here is an article about TSA officers quitting because they can’t live without pay any more. So far it is very few. After a while it will become a fairly few. At what point does it suddenly become lots and then loads?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/antiwork/comments/1s06rnv/tsa_officers_are_quitting_rather_than_working/

If we were living in a political science fantasy world, and I were a DemParty officeholder ( Rep or Sen) I would divide my fellow DemParty officeholders into two categories . . . BC Democrats and NBC Democrats.
    BC = Bipartisan Cuck
    NBC = No Bipartisan Cuck

I would try working with any other NBC Democrats which might exist in the House and/or Senate to keep this impasse going until so many TSA agents have quit that
Air Travel is shut down into, out of and within the US. And keep the impasse going until after that, or until the Republicans and the BC Dems get together to impose a BC solution.

I would try to get the other NBC Dems ( if any) to treat this as a pure test of power and an extended political science experiment. In this scenario, if the NBC Dems were able to keep the impasse going until the US Air Industry went into cold shutdown and went extinct if necessary, then the NBC Dems would show that they are able to set conditions instead of just making demands.

That is in Political Science Fantasy Fiction land , of course.

Here is someone offering a claim that some US soldiers here and there are smoking weed in order to fail drug tests and be kicked out of the Army. I don’t know how true this might be. I suspect that if enough of them read things like this, some of them might say: ” that sounds like a good idea”. A passive non-illegal mutiny spreading here and there in the ranks. So if spreading this article around could set into motion the think this article claims is already happening, that would be a good thing.

The blockade of Cuba and the resulting famine on the island are discussed on cable news not as a humanitarian crisis, but as necessary. The public supports the slow death of millions because they view the island as “unsaved” territory.

How many Americans actually watch cable news? I am guessing it is in the neighborhood of 10 million and mostly elderly people. And watching doesn’t mean any of them agree with what they see. Any them except Fox News fan Donald Trump.

The majority of Americans surveyed have supported lifting the Cuba blockade for years. That’s true even among Republicans and among people in South Florida.

The simple truth is that public opinion scarcely matters. Most people pay no attention to politics because they know their opinion on national or international issues doesn’t matter, even if they choose to have an opinion.

Have you seen Trump or his associates in government doing anything to explain his war policy in the Middle East or generally with regard to Iran, Cuba, Gaza or Venezuela?

There is no huge crowd of bloodthirsty ghouls at the base of the Aztec pyramid cheering. The high priests, their obsidian daggers dripping blood, crowd the upper slopes of the pyramid for sure. But, this is elite entertainment for elites. And, maybe a demonstration of power — an implicit threat — for the masses looking on from a distance, if they wearily look on at all.

What drives this degeneracy, in my opinion, is extreme income and wealth inequality, set in motion in the Reagan-Carter years when neoliberalism became the default ideology and the dismantling of the New Deal got underway and marginal tax rates on the rich were dramatically reduced. From that point, the gateway to and measure of elite membership and power narrowed to money only and a lot of it. The concentration of wealth and power in a few billionaires and massive business corporations accelerated. By the end of the 20th century, American politics had become an endless Vampire’s Ball and thus it has been ever since. No one need vote for either branch of the Uniparty. What you saw of politics on teevee or social media was all kayfabe for the rubes.

Some interesting stuff/ ideas on here this morning. Before responding I’ll share part of a dream I had last night. I was at some kind of a coding school, had very nice equipment and we were learning to access some “outside” areas of the net and technology. 2 rows of computers and the teachers were wandering around and prompting people to jump certain projects. The other students and the teachers were very diverse, a younger black guy next to me– said he’d tried to make it into Cornell. I said did you? He didn’t reply so I assumed not. There were some sexual hijinks going on too, a young blond woman was sharing instructions while crawling around on the floor, kind of showing off her ass. Seemed a submission ritual or a tease . . . started talking to a guy named something like Nature Boy, hippie parent type. Later a male instructor came around goosing all the trainees butts from behind; luckily it was in the other row, not mine. It seemed playful, not predatory, still weird. It wasn’t Epstein class stuff, though, this wasn’t horrible or a nightmare. It was like Johnathan Richman’s comment, playful in a childlike, and not so much childish way. Ludibrium, Ludic behaviors. Better than the frigging staff meetings my job used to force on me, which were pod-people exercises.

This dream still seemed more meaningless to me than most I have. Okay, the tech thing came up as recently I read (think from SPK, maybe on NC) that AI had generated 0% revenue in USA this year. There was a longing for community, which is present in many of my dreams.

Once early in my spiritual training, a mentor suggested I go without an orgasm for a lunar month, 28 days or so. Out of curiosity I did it, not in a relationship at the time. So a couple weeks in I started having lengthy, lucid dreams which I could control. E.g. I could fly and do other things that I wanted when I realized I was dreaming. Very compelling stuff but only tried that experience once. I just spoke of Ludic, now I get to Lucid, rearranged anagrams. Interesting coincidence.

    On to responses to others:
I at first read the start of KTC’s 3rd paragraph as “America is no longer a functional reptile”, waking up. It made sense, connects to Peter Thiel. Sometimes the William S. Burroughs “cut-up” combination of texts creates James Joyce style serendipities, alternate realities or ideas.

At first I largely bought most of his claims, his data points are real, to a point. But like bruce wilder I soon asked myself, do most of the people YOU know participate in this insane eschatology and lust for annihilation and clearly answered NO. I agree with bw’s point that very few people I know or who are around me are Cletus/ Zio- or Jaybus-Eschatological nutcases who want to burn it all down. They’re out there, though. Viz one of DC’s (many) shares on the Cave, not accepting its age, when I lived in NorCal someone in my neighborhood had an insane bumper sticker that I saw many times, “It’s a Young World After All”!! I looked into that lunacy. It’s on a par with Mormonism, a creative mash-up of Sir Francis Barrett’s 1801 The Magus, Fringe Occult Masonry, mixed with pre-Epstein predatory polygamy of young girls and women, and Tribalist appropriation of the Bible’s worst slop (which KTC raised), the big Secret is attained Mormons can “create their own planet” and critters/ slaves human and animals, live forever as a God. I will grant you the Mayans had a pretty scary/evil cosmology with bats, demoniac theriomorphs (mixed critters as in Egypt, see Hathoor, a sex goddess with a Cow’s Head), ritual sacrifice (seen across most of the world). Very sick, when he was having his breakdown trying to be a spiritual Leader, L. Ron Hubbard went to essentially the same place with his “Thetan” exiles from another planet fighting back against a monstrous Demiurge. A bad acid trip. Years ago I had a younger female friend who was no longer Mormon, was left-revolutionary and anti-Imperialism, she told me she and other girls were used in Rituals in a voyeuristic role, but there was no full-on rape, just scopophilia. Currently I have a younger male friend who is ex-Mormon, he told me when he lived in Utah he met the #2 authority of the Mormon Church, luckily in a public place, said he was “terrified.”

The psychological point to note of these Transhumanist or “I Will Beccome a God” Lunatics is they suffer from a massive inferiority (or more properly Nietzschean Ressentiment) deficit, and are overcompensating very badly. The Christian morons do the reverse, “I have no agency or power, must rely on Sky-Daddy to redeem me if I am pure and shun my body, senses and intellect.”

2 notes to DC, responses: 1. The 3,000 year old wooden toe prothesis is not a big deal, things like this are very common. If you want to become better-informed, read any issue of Harper’s, for years they close with researcher Rafil Kroll-Zaidi’s “Findings,” a one page summary of various scientific, anthropological, evolutionary biology and other data, here is a free link from online: https://harpers.org/archive/2026/02/findings-february-2026-rafil-kroll-zaidi/ 2. Thank you for the data on TSA workers quitting, that cheered me up. As to the pot-smoking soldiers who don’t want to die in an already failed Iran War, I had covered that in an earlier thread (Larry Johnson, who you have expressed hatred for, shared it). I guess as sometimes I skip your replies, you must ignore some of mine. The World, human civilization, are in fact far older than the Normies’ “History” allows for.

Speaking of which, I might’ve shared this already, but recently nearby in White Sands, New Mexico, the oldest human footprint in the Western Hemisphere was found, 21,000-23,000 y.a., meaning the migration across the Siberian Ice Bridge (or via boats from Asian islands and possibly China) was up to 4,000 years earlier than previously thought. So much for the “Cave is 6,000 years old, you have insulted myChristianity” ninny.

In closing, my Firefox “Pocket” informs me that there’s massive flooding across Hawa’ii hitting soon, people should “evacuate”– those that can. A couple years after massive wildfires that burned ’em out. Fire and Flood. I can see where those End Timers get juiced up, but don’t want to address or admit Climate Change; nor do our Ruling Class, AlGore Bot did so in a bid for political relevance but he profiteers and cares no more than the rest of his class.

Biden sold out the victims of the fire, King Donald will fuck over the flood victims, Bush Jr. set the template. Better to ask the Congress to approve “$200 Billion” for an already failed war, right? No wonder the peasants are starting to stir. Oh, bruce wilder called it twice, the only people who watch Cable TV are over 70, both Fox and probably CNN/ MSDNC sell adult diapers mainly, brain-dead for decades whether “lib” or “conservative” (actually neither, just lab rats getting their simulated stimulation), nobody with a functioning brain would waste a minute with that shit, other than to laugh uproariously at it. Soon Shuffling Off to Buffalo, nothing better to do, truly sad.

    KT Chong;

the view is this, america is the ottoman empire in 1914, unable to manufacture, free trade parasites took the empire over, financial parasites became the economy.

Armenians were heavy into banking, the young turks knew this, who were desperately trying to turn around their country. unfortunate actions were taken, to no avail. it was to late anyways.

unable to manufacture, there went the skill sets and critical thinking.

the sultans tried to drive out the religious fundamentalists, especially in the army, but failed.

there went the skill sets in the military, and by 1914, austrian/hungarian/germans were the generals running the ottamon army, with austrian/hungarian/german military equipment.

the janissaries almost took over the empire because they had immunity,

The Janissaries were elite infantry units in the Ottoman Empire, established in the 14th century, known for their military prowess and loyalty to the sultan. They were the first modern standing army in Europe and played a significant role in the empire’s expansion and governance until their disbandment in 1826.
    WorldAtlas Encyclopedia Britannica
    Overview of the Janissaries

The Janissaries were elite infantry units of the Ottoman Empire, active from 1363 until their disbandment in 1826. They were the first modern standing army in Europe and played a crucial role in the military and political landscape of the empire.
    Formation and Recruitment

Established: 1363 by Sultan Murad I.
Recruitment Method: The devşirme system, which involved taking Christian boys from the Balkans, converting them to Islam, and training them as soldiers.
Training: Recruits underwent rigorous military training and indoctrination, often starting from a young age.

    Role and Influence

Military Prowess: Janissaries were highly trained and equipped with firearms, making them formidable fighters.
Political Power: They gained significant influence within the Ottoman court, often participating in political decisions and even deposing sultans.
Social Status: Although they were originally enslaved, Janissaries received salaries and could rise to high ranks, enjoying privileges not afforded to typical slaves.

    Decline and Disbandment

Resistance to Change: As Western military practices evolved, the Janissaries resisted modernization, leading to their decline in effectiveness.
Auspicious Incident: In 1826, Sultan Mahmud II ordered the disbandment of the Janissaries after they revolted against reforms. Many were killed or executed during this suppression.

The Janissaries remain a significant part of Ottoman history, symbolizing both military strength and the complexities of power dynamics within the empire.

today america has the same system, only its called the police and district attorneys, as well as a large swath of the judiciary.

drunk with immunity and a system that is almost impossible to hold accountable. many towns and cities are being completely controlled by the police and district attorneys.

judges are either so corrupt, or fear for their lives, citizens fear for their lives, tens of millions are holed up in their homes, and now the judiciary has gutted 4th amendment protections against jack boot thugs beating down your door and terrorizing you.

retaliation is rampant. if you manage to win, they will try everything in their power, to ruin you for life.

this to makes for a lost skill set that helps a country be 1st world, and its military 1st world.

Not certain where KTC gets the 135 million figure for the number of death cultists, but there is undeniably a shitload of confused and deluded people out there. Also not buying completely into the Aztec analogy but it’s certainly dramatic.

I was recently mentioning to a friend that there are more Buddhist and other spiritual practitioners then there are billionaires, satanists and members of the Epstein class who are all often one and the same. You just don’t know or hear about them unless you travel in those circles.

In eastern Tibet there’s a monastic community of more than 35,000 people, and there are many more centers throughout Asia as well as in the West: France, Ireland, Spain and the UK, for example. I can think offhand of eight centers on the East Coast and even more on the West, not to mention those in between. Canada and Mexico also have strong Buddhist communities. One would assume that the members of these organizations at least aspire towards cultivating altruistic mind along with other positive qualities. There’s still some light in the world.

On another front, Mark Level brings up the Mormon question once again. Having grown up in Mormon country, I’ve commented enough here on that culture, but will drop one more thing that’s at least tangential to points raised and that is wife swapping is apparently a current trend among the faithful at least according to an acquaintance who lives in Provo and is in a position to know.

Exiting the run on sentence department, I’m sitting cross legged on a deck listening to jays and ravens squawk about who knows what on this unseasonably warm Sunday morning. (Ok, not quite an exit.) I remembered that I have a translation of an ancient Tibetan text that explains the meaning of raven calls. It explains stuff like two short calls from a north westerly direction signifies such and such. Alas, like so many of my incidental treasures it’s buried in a box somewhere in my not so accessible storage shed. More than anybody wants to know who may have read this far.

Anyway, if you want to sacrifice anything, make it your ego. Ciao.

( That’s a play on Yersinia pestis, the bubonic plague bacterium).

So yes, I think I have already pre-agreed with you on that point.

A New Deal Reactionary Party, under whatever name, would need a powerful Intelligence/ CounterIntelligence Bureau to find and destroy every malignant metastatic clintonoma daughter cell trying to penetrate and destroy such a party. And there will be millions of such cells in “human” form.

F-35s that can’t fly in the rain, dust, or if there are rocks on the ground during takeoff, as an obvious example.

Brief note to Mago, the Ravens here in New Mexico are awesome. And in recent days my elderly cat has been Sun-worshipping, for the first time in his life, he has direct Sunlight, and basks in it. (Had a 2nd floor balcony in the East Bay Norcal but it faced NW toward Mt. Tamalpais so he never got direct sunlight. And sealed-up apt. in Frozen Duluth.)

And thanks, for a change, to DC– Yes, Clintons (plural) first, I like Yersiniobama, he ran a 3rd and 4th Bush term, leading only to Trump term 1, then Brain-Bleed Joe (rather on par with the late Hapsburg leaders with gigantic jaws who could barely eat and could not reproduce), then Trump as a 2nd Mad King George (similar Germanic origins, maybe not syphilitic but as noted elsewhere, Sudafed-addicted) and the end of the Pretense of the Republic.

I met Roy Cohn once. Ugliest man I have ever encountered. And, I understand I encountered him after he’d had extensive plastic surgery. Also, no boundaries.

I suppose there must be sociopaths, who are physically attractive and personally charming, meandering through society undetected by the unsuspecting, spreading their poison. But, what, then, to make of figures like Cohn? Or, rather, what to make of the attraction they have? Cohn was repulsive, but he drew people to himself. He was not universally shunned. Puzzling.

  23. different clue

Cohn was a foam-rubber tuff guy. Other foam-rubber tuff guy wannabes are drawn to people like that. Cohn matured into a mafia shyster-lawer. Young Trump apparently first met Cohn sitting with some mafia connecteds in a restaurant. Cohn decided to take Trump under his wing and mentor him.

i remember seeing Cohn being interviewed in separate full-face head shot on TV. I remember feeling that he looked worse than living dead and that he must be awfully sick with something. A few months later he died of . . . well . . . NOT AIDS. NEVer EVer AIDS! So don’t even THINK it!

I remember hoping that he felt as bad as he looked. I hope the same for Trump.
Buddhists might consider me a “challenging case”.

More stuff inspired by Gobekli Tepe’. People who are prepared to admit that Gobekli Tepe’ is a real place with real things there might be prepared to admit that there are currently-unexplained megalithic stones, blocks and constructions here and there in different parts of the world. There is a vacuum of reality-based explanation or even speculation about who and how. Such a vacuum sucks into itself things like . .
a race of Giants did it. Space aliens. Alien Space Giants.

Some claimed-to-be megalithic sites seem iffy to me. The Giants Playground in Montana is hyped as a megalithic site. But the pictures I see look awfully natural to be definintely human-worked and positioned stone blocks. Too rounded, too eroded, just stacked enough that yeah .. . nature could do that.
“Giants Playground, Montana – Drone Video”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9MM0KFJdi8

Here, by contrast, is a video of still shots with mutedly dramatic music of a site in the southern Ural Mountains of Russia. Some of it is perhaps the result of natural geologic process if one doesn’t look too closely. But some of it is too angular, too regular, too much repeated to be the luck of nature. And some is so obviously manmade that to call it “natural geologic processes” is preposterous on its face. People who say that are just retreating from having their brain jammed. They see these things and they just can’t take it.

@Different Clue: if you want real, archeological, non-psuedo science, based information on Gobekli Tepe and the entire Taş Tepeler cultural sites, now up to 20 of them, surrounding the Şanliurfa region, please watch Ancient Architects on YouTube. He is the best, reality based commenter on YouTube and his deconstructions and interprepations are the finest you will find. And the most compelling. https://www.youtube.com/@AncientArchitects

I cannot recommend him highly enough. Absolutely superb.
