MTG is a weird hybrid creature (I was talking about the Summers hybrid in the last thread): nearly half the time she is an economic populist for ordinary people, anti-Zionist, it seems there was a bit of cultural distance with Judaism (could be actual anti-Semitism), but beyond that evidently she is somewhat sincere as a Christian in thinking that exterminating women, children and civilians daily is not something that she can support. She is more economically populist than AOC or anyone in the Dimmie Party, or that phony Bernie Sanders who they threw under the bus multiple times . . . oh, she opposed H-1Bs taking American jobs, and opposes ALL foreign wars, noting pragmatically that they all fail. She also had the integrity to demand release of the Epstein files, which is obviously why she has been threatened. She sincerely hates Big Pharma and Big Tech, no wonder they wanted her out. And she knows “both parties” are fully implicated. Medea Benjamin said she wishes MTG would stay.
Yes, Sabby brings up that she and her family members must’ve been threatened by the Zionists and Military-Industrial profiteers. That is obvious. Now let’s look at the downs: White ethno-nationalism is repellent, and she insanely demands English be made the “official language”. (Here she shows her ignorance, many of the Founding Fathers would be rolling over in her grave.) She supports the ICE Fascism (meantime AOC pretended there were no “kids in cages” during the Bidet admin) and reactionary social politics, anti-Trans (fair enough regarding minor transitions before adulthood, nobody’s business if adults transition), she does actually (rare) break with her party, thus the Fat One called her “Marjorie Traitor Green”, again makes sense that she’s gonna cut and run, 2 days after her Pension kicks in (pragmatic).
AOC is badly threatened by MTG’s actual ability to fight back and be independent, as she has no spine and would never stand up to “Mama Bear” or the Oligarchy. She is as much a puppet of her betters as Stacy Plaskett was for her “constituent” Jeffrey Epstein, taking texts from him during a hearing and misdirecting. The skeezy Dimmies alongside some Epstein Coalition R’s voted against censuring her for supporting the sex-trafficker. The Virgin Islands is deeply involved in sex-trafficking too . . . https://abcnews.go.com/US/house-votes-censuring-plaskett-epstein-texts/story?id=127670527 The Rethuglicans protected one of their worst in payment, a guy who brutally battered his Ex, then when she got out threatened to share nude pics of her, he won’t be censured either. It’s a big Club, only the worst can be in it.
MTG is bigoted and from a very right-wing, retrograde culture, but at least she has a baseline integrity which these other ghouls completely lack. Meantime Mean Girl AOC calls MTG out for (likely true) insider trading while in Congress, including in War Profits. Not that AOC has any problem with Nancy Pelosi’s insider training. It’s just resentment that MTG is the rare blind pig that can find an acorn (integrity) which AOC will never be.
AOC shows her open corruption in demanding their be no independent challenger to the piece of rotting meat known as Hakeem Jeffries, utterly lacking in any agency beyond serving the donors. And disgracefully, Mamdami also opposes a DSA candidate, will not tolerate anyone who would oppose the man known as “AIPAC Shakur” in the Primary as well. Both AOC and Mamdami said “Don’t do what I did (challenge a useless insider), do what I say” once installed. . . . I stayed on the fence viz Mamdami, but am getting off it now. Easy to cap on the likes of L&S most of the time, but his reflexive cynicism was correct in this case, it seems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzB6SRToqbg
Even as senility took over Biden fully during the 2020 race, he did remember one thing that boss man Barry Obama taught him and spilled on a hot mic before the Big Donors, “Fundamentally nothing will change.” Barry’s true ethos, certainly not change or hope.
The Empire’s circling the Toilet bowl, but the Dead Hand of the Elites will threaten or bribe anyone not implicated out . . . At the link just above you’ll see that the DSA candidate is indeed a clown, who lied that “Kamala would be better on Gaza than Trump.” So Zohran’s sell-out doesn’t matter much, they ALL do as they are told.
Occam’s Razor proves time and again that Electoral politics leads only to more looting, war and economic breakdown. Will the voters ever wise up? Or quietly die? I can’t be real hopeful.
Let’s go back to earlier and add something to the end:
I disagree on America having an official language: America should have one.
I’ve been working on a thesis about why China is, by far, the oldest and only civilization-state in the world whose core entity has survived continuously for thousands of years. China has endured multiple cycles of rise, peak, decline, fall, and resurgence, with each cycle typically lasting between 250 and 400 years. The CPC is merely at the beginning of yet another such cycle. Only China has repeatedly risen from decline to flourish anew over millennia.
By contrast, no other great civilization has been able to recover after its fall. Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Athens, the Persian Empire, Rome, the Byzantine Empire, the Mongol Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Spanish Empire, the French monarchy, and the British Empire all reached extraordinary heights, yet once they collapsed, they never regained their former greatness; most simply faded away over time.
Even India, despite its long history as a civilization, has never truly existed as a unified state except briefly under the Mughal Empire, which lasted only about 330 years — a Muslim empire that did not reflect the region’s core Hindu cultural identity. Outside of that brief period, India’s natural state has historically been division into multiple kingdoms, unlike China, whose natural state is continuity and unity. (This is why I believe India will eventually fragment, and the continent will revert to its natural state of division.)
One of the key foundations of China’s longevity is its single unified written language. This linguistic continuity has allowed China to reconnect, rebuild, and reconstitute itself across dynastic cycles, foreign invasions, and long periods of fragmentation. A unified written language is part of China’s “secret source” of resilience.
So I disagree with the idea that advocating for an official or national language in America is “bigoted.” Every empire eventually falls, and none — except China — has ever been able to rise again after collapse. A major key to China’s repeated resurgence is its single unified language. America cannot prevent its eventual decline, but if it hopes one day to recover from a future fall and rise again, then it must first build the foundation of a unified national language.
But I do not believe America has the political will or social cohesion to create a unifying language, and it is running out of time — which means that, unlike China, America will not rise again after its coming fall and fragment.
P.S. A single unified language is only one pillar of China’s civilizational resilience; it is not the only key. But language is foundational — and work together with the other pillars of culture, governance, and identity.
More P.S. For most of Chinese history, the unifying language was written, not spoken. What the CPC is doing now — through the nationwide campaign of Putonghua or “common tongue” — is historically unprecedented. It is the first successful and sustained nationwide effort to create not just a unified script, but a unified spoken language. This shift layers atop of the unified script and fundamentally strengthen China’s civilizational cohesiveness.
The CPC’s Putonghua or “common tongue” project is monumental. And when viewed in the context of its other “civilization-scale” undertakings — the Three Gorges Dam, the national expressway and high-speed rail networks, the South–North Water Transfer Project, the Belt and Road Initiative, and more — these collectively resemble the early signatures of a major dynasty in Chinese history.
In China’s historical cycles, major dynasties typically last 250–400 years and leave deep structural imprints on the civilization. Minor dynasties — such as the regime on Taiwan, which is the remnant of a previous dynasty — tend to be short-lived and transitional. Historically, minor dynasties often coexisted alongside a rising major dynasty during its early phase, but were ultimately absorbed or collapsed. This pattern has repeated many times throughout Chinese history; the Taiwan situation is not historically unique.
The CPC’s nation-building projects at this early stage — which mirror the formative eras of the Han, Tang, Song, and Ming — mark it as a major dynasty, not a minor one. Which means that many people hoping for the CPC to collapse soon, or within their lifetime, are likely to be disappointed. A major Chinese dynasty lasts at least 250 years — and the CPC is not even in its first full century yet.
Historically, Taiwan follows a familiar pattern: during the early Qing — a rising major dynasty — a minor remnant of the fallen Southern Ming regime retreated to and held out on the island under the Koxinga government for about twenty years before ultimately being defeated and absorbed.
That island was… Taiwan.
The present situation with Taiwan is not historically unique; it fits a recurring pattern in Chinese history, in which minor holdouts coexist for a few years to over a century alongside a new major dynasty before eventually disappearing.
Sixty two years ago today JFK—the only true peace president—was assassinated, not by a lone gunman named Lee Harvey Oswald, but by a deep state alphabet agency. At least they spent time and effort to concoct a story, unlike most of the lame half ass efforts that have followed ever since.
Subsequent presidents, posturing weasels that they are (not to give weasels a bad name) got the message even if a gullible public didn’t.
So, you say, what’s it matter? Ancient history. It matters greatly insofar as the psychopathic mindset that dominated then in halls of power echoes through the decades. They’ve gotten more entrenched and stronger than ever.
But yeah. conspiracy theories, a term invented by the CIA btw. Easily distracted, an overweight and fog brained populace ingests shit for food and entertainment both.
As for MTG, let’s indulge another conspiracy theory that her resignation was fueled by threats to her life. It’s a thing these days, casually thrown out with no attempts at disguise. Wtf, rap culture in congress and the White House? Nah. More like another culture whose name is not to be spoken. Let’s just call it Assassination Inc. Step out of line and kiss your ass bye bye.
Shit’s a popping everywhere, and it’s almost impossible to keep up even if one cared or tried. Here in these Ewe Nighted States you can count on countless turkeys being slaughtered this week (along with countless innocents in foreign lands) so the fat can get fatter as they celebrate gluttony and football in the name of giving thanks to something or another.
Don’t know how many Thanksgiving dinners I’ve cooked or assassinations I’ve lived through in my life, but it’s been a lot for damned sure. For me November has long been a cursed month, but that’s another story for another time. Gobble gobble gobble.
It is the first successful and sustained nationwide effort to create not just a unified script, but a unified spoken language.
I don’t know about “first”. There have been a lot of such projects on the other end of the Eurasian continent. France hammered away at a standard French for the whole of the 19th and 20th centuries and mockery from linguists notwithstanding, quite successfully. Türkiye adopted a Roman orthography and traded in a lot of Arabic loanwords for Turkic ones. The Nazis banned Fraktur in favor of Antiqua and it stuck. The Irish and the Israelis resurrected whole languages. Italy tried to make everyone sound Tuscan. Romania tried to make the Romanian language more romantic and less Slavic, including switching from Cyrillic to Latin letters. Serbia has digraphia, using both letter sets interchangeably, often in the same texts. Germany had struggles reconciling Low German with literacy and Norway has never figured out why they speak in Norwegian dialects but write Danish.
Thanks so much to bruce wilder for beating me to a response to KTC’s unitary, totalitarian, jingoistic and fascist-adjacent take on the forced imposition of a language on multicultural societies in order to limit the ability of the peons to assert their own agency and, going a bit further out on a limb, even their identity as human beings. Many years ago I greatly enjoyed Anthony Burgess’ (best known for the fictional work A Clockwork Orange) magisterial work on language, A Mouthful of Air: Language, Languages, . . .Especially English. After serving in WW II he went, as best as I recall, to Indonesia to teach.
The book covers some amazing stuff. The suppression and near-death of Celtic tongues which once covered a huge area of Europe from the British Isles to Spain and across Europe. See e.g. the map here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtic_languages
They covered a huge range as seen, as far as to the borders of and south of the Mediterranean, and though they seemed near-death when Burgess wrote, independence movements in Ireland and even Scotland have revived them.
Another fascinating tidbit I recall is that among Indo-European languages, there is a dialect in Germany that when spoken could be understood completely by people in a certain area of India, and the reverse held as well. This has kind of creepy implications about the Nazi belief that they were the heirs of the Aryan race (which stupidly, most of them thought was in Hyperboria, far Northern Europe or Siberia) . . .but I digress.
I gave that book to a former student of mine who’d joined the Peace Corps years ago, thought it would be of use to him. When I was teaching English (1 of my 3 credentialed areas) I always supported descriptive language over prescriptive, as the former allows for change and evolution, the latter is ridiculously anal and if really enforced would have us try to go back to speaking Old English, or something equally absurd. That doesn’t mean I don’t get annoyed at people who don’t know the difference between its and it’s, or there/their/they’re, or don’t understand the difference between count and non-count modifiers for quantity, less v. fewer. Or people who say “I could care less” when they mean the opposite.
One of my all-time favorite books, having some knowledge of 4-5 languages, is Finnegans Wake. I understand why it is bewildering to those who only speak one language, but for the multilingual it provides puns across languages and eras that really say a lot.
Now to respond directly to KTC– I will not oppose your instinct to have pride in China’s greatness, like others on this site I am aware of how much better contemporary China is in many, many respects than the Late Neoliberal, Imperial, Gilded Age II USA. Fair enough.
I see the imposition of a single written language as a bureaucratic necessity when trying to have diverse groups who speak entirely or nearly entirely distinct dialects, so I don’t have a problem with that per se. But when I lived in the Bay Area I knew Mandarin speakers, and Cantonese speakers, and likely those speaking minority languages not as widespread as those two. Standardization allows better communication here, fine.
But then to Broad Brush the issue and generalize from there and demand that every country have a single, dominant, and ENFORCED language is incredibly authoritarian and bigoted and, frankly, ignorant. You have allied yourself with a former Texas governor, Ms. Hogg, who when they were trying to force Mexcian children not to speak their own language in school, stated “If English was good enough for Jesus Christ, it’s good enough for me!!” I don’t know if even the white supremacist MTG is dumb enough to say something like that, but she might be. (And some credit to Mr. and Mrs. Hogg, she became governor as his successor when he died, they had a good sense of humor, naming their daughters Ima and Ura. Ima Hogg got the short end of that stick.)
Your fantasy of governmental control of language specifically, and of thought thereby (see 1984 as an over-obvious illustrative example) shows a real respect for Great Men like Trump, or like Lyndon Larouche, who had similar theories of clean/ unclean, acceptable and verboten (I’ll use German for that one since it sounds stronger than English) musical notes and demanded that one “sinister” (literal meaning left-handed in Latinate languages, basic denotation is “evil”) note be removed from compositions that included it.
This is an extreme of superstitiousness and Germophobic mania, which relates to certain varieties of OCD, among other pathologies. There is a good book by the anthropologist Mary Douglas on this malady called Purity and Danger. It treats the concepts “of Pollution and Taboo” in certain cultures which reject basic Enlightenment ideas in favor of a ghost-haunted world of lurking dangers everywhere.
Rock ‘n Roll is Satanic. Walking under a ladder is dangerous, you have violated the Trinity. Proctor and Gamble’s soap label was Satanic. The Sherwin-Williams Paint company was a Communist front “covering the world” with Red Paint/ Red Menace. https://ar.inspiredpencil.com/pictures-2023/sherwin-williams-cover-the-earth-logo
SWP is Sherwin-Williams Paint but also the Socialist Workers Party, they’re not even hiding the conspiracy!!!
Well, one could burst a blood-vessel immersing oneself in such paranoid fantasy. Culture is amorphous, many rivers feed that stream including the hoi-polloi, the “Great Men” don’t really make culture any more than they make history. Hair Fuhrer Trump can declare an aquatic area south of the US and East of Mexico as “The Gulf of America” but most of the world will ignore that type of grasping megalomania. (I just wonder that he didn’t go one step further and declare it the Gulf of Trump, since Trump =Greatness = Winning = NRA Jesus, etc. ad infinitum.)
KT Chong, you often share very valuable information about China and Asia generally, but clearly you are a simplistic, black and white thinker. I noted this long ago when you supported the government’s power over women’s bodily autonomy and health, declaring that women had no “right” to bodily autonomy. Simple enough for you to say that. However you can’t stop most women from exercising autonomy, nobody made you God, so your totalizing demands are just the arrogance of a bloated ego.
Some of us seek freedom and open skies. Others seek the Black Iron Prison and the Pyramid of Power, where certain innate properties, gender, skin color, age, etc. valorize worth, only a few are allowed to rule and everyone else has to Obey Their Betters.
I consider China and Russia to be healthier societies than the USA has been for many decades, if not centuries, at this moment in history. But that doesn’t mean that they have all the answers, or are in any way near perfect. I prefer my fellow humanity to God-Kings who dictate how I am allowed to think or speak. You worship power, and not freedom. That’s a mug’s game, and it won’t lead you to a good place. I’ll continue to respect some insights you share, while being aware that you belong to a retrograde tribe of Authoritarian would-be Kings, who lack wisdom while valuing only force and power.
Everyone in Ancient Egypt pretty much spoke the same language, and they had a universal script. It’s nice, but it doesn’t guarantee survival. Though they had one hell of a run, longer than China has had. They even survived one conquest and reconstituted, but the Persians/Greeks/Romans/Arabs did them in.
A pity, if could pick one ancient civilization I wish had survived to the modern era, it’d definitely be the Egyptian.
Give it a couple more thousand years, then talk big. 🙂
Ha! The common written Chinese language was a tool of the Mandarin class, which was a much stronger unifying force. The Chinese empire instituted an every-few-year job aptitude test for national-level bureaucratic jobs. The job aptitude test became, of course, a cultural enforcement tool: you had to study the classics to pass the test. The classics included poetry and party games like “I made a perfume, guess that I put in it”.
This meant that if a tax official from the western provinces met a fisheries official from the southeast, they could not understand each other’s dialect but they could hang out, write poems, and play party games anyway. And, they believed or at least understood the common political opinions. This made the Mandarin class a powerful unifying force for the Empire.
The Empire would fall apart, the remaining Mandarins would maintain private libraries from the old days, and a few centuries later they would use the blueprint to build a new Empire. This happened a few times; China was not a continuous operating civilization.
The Brits liked this common test idea, and took it home to create a national college entrace test. We Americans stole this for the SATs.
The problem with making Epstein a “Trump thing” is that T-bone is very very old, and so sometime “soon”… nobody will care about Epstein because the Trump-Epstein axis will fade into history like Teapot Dome.
If MTG is an economic populist, then we are still waiting for her Medicare for All proposal and her proposal to raise SS payments and or lower the age for SS, or an industrial policy for hillbilly red states that brings industry to their states and retrains their people. She puts out a vibe of populism, but no beef in it for main street Americans.
She voted for BBB with all the tax cuts that flow to the ultra-wealthy, which isn’t all that populist.
If bashing black and brown people, democrats, the left, and reproductive freedom as MTG does is populist, I don’t know if we want anything to do with that populism (don’t know if I call it populism). This is not to say that AOC and Bernie are as good as they should be, no they are not, but MTG is nowhere near the quality that those guys are.
( By the way, this is one of the leopards which Latinos For Trump voted to release when they voted for Trump. Are Latinos For Trump thinking about that now?)
Thanks to mago for his comment, and yes, the unified language demands are deranged. When language is weaponized against certain groups, violence and bloodshed follow as night follows day. I could’ve brought up what the Western Ukrainians did over many years, with their NeoNazi Banderist ideology: Outlawing people speaking Russian (Zelensky’s first language) as “the language of the Imperialists”, bombing the Russian population in Donbass since they wouldn’t give up their language or culture, eventually leading to a major war and (coming soon) the division of Ukraine into two, a large portion of the Eastern section becoming Novorossiya, as Crimea did basically without a shot being fired when Victoria Nuland’s Maidan coup “succeeded”. Heckuva job, Azov!!
No response from KT Chong after his multiple posts. The difference between us is that KTC is reactionary and subscribes to Hobbes’ take on an all-powerful State that treats its citizens as property, whereas I follow Nietzsche’s point that the State is the biggest Monster that was ever invented and must be resisted. Nietzsche was anything but a conventional thinker, but at one time (long ago) even Liberalism maintained that the State was there to serve the populace, NeoLiberalism makes us all serve the Market through the State, twin monsters of aggression. Oh, and let’s not forget the State created a new Monster in nuclear weapons during the 1940s, something that threatens all humanity.
Seattle Resident, you are entirely correct, my response only touched on MTG’s rhetoric about stepping down, and yes, she has in terms of voting been the typical political whore, voting for the Big, Beautiful Bill to destroy the poorest MAGA crew with unbridled hypocrisy. Like Josh Hawley she will signal she’s on the side of poorer Republicans, doesn’t want their Social Security and Medicare gutted, but does little or nothing to stop that. She’s out because of the cardinal sin of being strongly anti-Zionist, death threats against her and her family worked, given what happened to Charlie Kirk. But it does allow her to tell some hard truths on the way out the door.
She thought she could shake the puppet strings off, but it didn’t work. So her career is cut short, while a smug, complacent and vapid puppet like AOC will be around for the foreseeable future. That’s politricks in a nutshell.
Oh, and thanks to Jorge for the comment on the return of the Mandarin class. This kind of thing is unsurprising. Look at the research on how many US presidents are related by blood. There’s a small big class, and you aren’t in it! per George Carlin.
I went back to Nate Wilson Turner’s post about the ” Black Folks lying low” to offer a comment with some links there of particular relevance to the subject of that post, but it looks like commenting has been closed for that post. I am guessing that after enough time has passed, that the comments functionality auto-closes. So I will offer my comment here instead of there, even though it would have been most relevant there.
I found the material I wish to offer through a link to on You Tube. The problem with You Tube is that there is no index, no table of contents, no nothing. Its just a swirling cloud of millions of videos which come and go and many of which disappear into the general tornado-in-a-snowglobe, never to be findable again. They still exist somewhere in You Tube’s memory banks, but they are unfindable. So sometimes I will have to offer one of these comments before I would have wished to, because the material referred to could disappear beyond finding at any instant.
I found my way to all this American BlackAmerican Black content by random chance and I have been watching-listening to it to learn something given how very little I know. I have learned an acronym of which I knew nothing till a couple of months ago, and that is FBA which stands for Foundational Black Americans. And I equally recently heard of “delineation” and “cultural gatekeeping” as part of the same general evolving thought-cloud. I suspect we will all be hearing more and more of this.
There is one commenter/creator named Phillip Scott who does Podcasts and maybe other mini-micro commercial media rather than doing un-paid-for social media. So his work might be more findable for longer. His talks last between 10 and 20 minutes
but they are not boring, which is important to me given my sonic and visual orientation.
He watches other peoples’ media content to see if they offer any “teachable moment opportunities” for him to make a Podcast in reply to. Watching a few of his podcasts can help make clear these emerging social-cultural facts of FBA, delineation, gatekeeping, etc. which will begin drifting like icebergs into the sealanes of general American politics.
Here is one where he responds to a Latina woman who was complaining about Black people not out protesting ICE and whatnot. It is titled: ” Latina Says Pretendian FBAs Are Not Out There Doing The Work Like Her ” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LbXeOmeizI
And here’s a two-days-later follow-up to that Podcast because it generated more than normal interest . . . ” The White Man Who Asked Black Men To Save America: What He Really Meant ” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqFPfDJ7n40
I don’t know where or even if Mr. Scott places himself on a Left-to-Right axis, or if he even cares about that. While he does not revel in political incorrectness for fun, and because he is too polite in his Podcasts, he doesn’t seem to care if his analyses and opinions appear politically incorrect to some. But he is always courteous and polite and never uses a single bad word.
If parts of America are to survive in the future as ” middle-income” societies, it may involve going back to a lot more of this . . . . hopefully a fancier better-paying version of “this”, but still . . . a lot more of this.
Here is another FBA content-creator video which I would have left at the ” Black Folks” thread if the comment function there had not closed as a function of passing time. ((Modest searching has revealed that every post eventually ages into “comment function closedown” after a time. I assume there are basic unavoidable technical management reasons for that). So I bring it here.
I used to watch Bill Maher at random sometimes. I remember once he was basking in praise from either himself or someone else that on the basis of ” having Black friends” he understood the deep currents of Black politics, culture, political culture, etc. It was even claimed that he had the unofficial title of ” Honorary Soul Brother”.
I was ignorant then, just like now, so I supposed it could be true.
But recently I stumble apond a Maher video segment where Maher voices his surprise and incomprehension as to why the No Kings protests were so very ” White”.
Where were the Black people? And then I saw commentaries about it, some leading with that video bit and some not. Here is one which only refers to it with a brief description, and then describes at length, from the video-maker’s perspective, why there are no Black People at the No Kings protest. And it again seems to make the point that it is not “fear” which keeps them away. It is something else best explained in the video itself.
( There are other sometimes-findable videos noting that Maher noted that a Baltimore Sun photographer had been sent out to find Black people to photograph and couldn’t find any, which led Maher to ask where they were. These other videos note that the fact that Baltimore Sun had a photographer looking for Black people to photograph shows that Official White Power-Structure America desperately wants to put a Black Face on the protests and desperately wants the Black people to come out en masse so that the Government Forces can mass-attack them to create the appearance of riots so that the Trump Regime can declare Martial Law . . . and Black America will not take the bait. But there is a limit to how many videos can be linked to in a short time. Supposing I could even find them again).

Didn’t know what to make of bruce wilder’s “mtg has given up” in the last thread, but Sabby Sabs breaks it down well here– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCK5UMQqABk
KT Chong
KT Chong
KT Chong

I find it annoying that people commonly say, “jealous” when they mean envious.
I also dislike the idiomatic, “I am so proud of you” when what should be said is, “I admire you”. It seems narcissistic.

Jorge
Today, the CPC’s ruling Politburo has (I have seen it claimed) a majority of members who are descended from the old Mandarin class.

It is titled: ” Latina Says Pretendian FBAs Are Not Out There Doing The Work Like Her ”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LbXeOmeizI
Here’s another called: ” White Man Wants Black Men to Save America-We’re Done”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69BRFfY53Nw
And here’s a two-days-later follow-up to that Podcast because it generated more than normal interest . . . ” The White Man Who Asked Black Men To Save America: What He Really Meant ”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqFPfDJ7n40
I don’t know where or even if Mr. Scott places himself on a Left-to-Right axis, or if he even cares about that. While he does not revel in political incorrectness for fun, and because he is too polite in his Podcasts, he doesn’t seem to care if his analyses and opinions appear politically incorrect to some. But he is always courteous and polite and never uses a single bad word.

So here it is.
” Bill Maher Asks Why There Were NO BLACKS at NO KINGS PROTESTS ”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C56BUvAchU
