Tucker Carlson made a point about the risk of calling people, “Nazi’s” and internet has gone crazy.

Here’s a link to the long form of his remarks, courtesy of Rod Dreher (who I think objected). I originally saw a shorter version on Tucker’s own account on X-twitter.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxxg3HSlH7c&t=2151s

Imho, almost all the X-twitter and blog critics I have scanned seemed to work pretty darn hard to NOT understand Tucker’s point and other than the experienced practitioners of hasbara, I don’t understand why they can’t show better judgment. I am not saying anyone should agree with Tucker, only that I would expect less deliberate distortion of Tucker’s point, less grade school playground level invective.

I suppose, for clarity’s sake, Tucker might have been well-advised to qualify his remarks by inserting “indiscriminately” somewhere, but I can see why he might not have chosen to do so, given that he was taking an explicitly Christian perspective (which though a lapsed Catholic, I share).

Tucker himself doesn’t shy from comparing IDF practice to Nazi behavior. Just noting that in case some one thinks Tucker has added “pro-Nazi” to his “pro-Putin” bona fides.

I, myself, do not like the fashion on the left for throwing around “racist” and “fascist” labels as an excuse for dismissing out-of-hand a political opponent’s views or agenda. Labeling someone a “Nazi” does seem an escalation. The actual, historic Nazi’s earned their reputation, but I am not sure the name-callers fully appreciate the political freight they are carrying.

While America has gone all-in on AI, it looks like China’s next growth engine (after EVs) has already arrived:

    UniTree:

    R1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1Q4Su54iho

China also just held the world’s largest robot expo a couple of months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or0iYHjoptE

And the last time China had an expo like this… was for EVs, right before they stormed the world.

The pattern is almost identical to EVs ten years ago: massive state coordination, tight control of the full supply chain (motors, batteries, reducers), a willingness to sell hardware at razor-thin margins—or even at a loss—to gain data and market share, plus a gigantic domestic market that can absorb hundreds of thousands of units for training. Beijing has already stated its goal: “mass production of humanoid robots by 2027,” with full global competitiveness.

    https://vocal.media/futurism/china-vs-usa-in-humanoid-robot-race-how-china-is-taking-the-lead-in-2025-vhyg70g48

Western media mostly hasn’t caught up yet. By the time the West realizes Chinese humanoid robots are already dominating, it’ll be too late. And just like with EVs and solar, we’ll get the same tired chorus about China’s “overcapacity” and “overproduction.” It’s playing out beat-for-beat.

Donald ” Fat Donny Pedo” Trump has decided to read Marjorie Taylor Greene out of the MAGA movement. He ( or somebody under his digital imprint) has written a digital entry to that effect.

Trump blasts and withdraws support Marjorie Taylor Greene

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/comments/1oxf7pt/trump_blasts_and_withdraws_support_marjorie/

To me this entry seems far too long and literate for Fat Donnie to have written it his own self. Probably somebody else wrote it and maybe asked him to review it. They took some care to spray some Trumpian stylistic perfume on it. But it still smells far too literate to me to convince me that Trump his own self wrote it.

  4. different clue

Now Marjorie Taylor Greene is getting death threats from Trump’s basemembers.

Here is a little video about that. I normally don’t link to liberal-leftish videos because they are low quality, but this is high quality enough to link to.

One grows weary of the torment, can there be no peace? That’s a paraphrased song lyric from Buffalo Springfield, but um, yeah.

What’s a Nazi who’s a Nazi? Not your mother not your father not your brother not you. Then who? Who are you?

This labeling and weaponizing of words and language is a dimwit yet effective strategy for creating chaos and confusion while obfuscating root causes and core issues.

Nazis. Give me a focking break. I used to joke about food Nazis and Nazi this and Nazi that. Oh, yeah, it’s true that we have some real time culture Nazis killing people and running things while spreading their toxic ideologies all over the intertubes and nets.

We’ve got our Tuckers and mother f*ckers creating controversy and confusion amongst their millions of followers and detractors. Meanwhile, the scum bag psychos running the show rub their hands with glee while indulging their perversions. Rub this. Suck that. Sucker.

Everywhere is war and rumors of war. Destruction everywhere you look.
It’s all right ma, it’s only dying.

Blame the Nazis. Why not? It’s a wearisome distraction is all I’m saying.

A bit of news out of China that’s been under-the-radar in the West:

Israel is aware that the U.S. is in decline and has been actively working to diversify its alliances, hedge risks, and seek new backer/protector. The most obvious alternative is China, but China has so far resisted such a shift — and is actually becoming increasingly hostile to Israel.

In early October 2025, China has conducted significant crackdowns on underground Christian churches and pastors, (which was reported in the U.S. and framed as violations of human rights and religious freedom.) China raided churches across seven cities (e.g., Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Beihai) and detained about 30 pastors.

All of these churches and pastors are evangelical Protestant and affiliated with — wait for it — the “Zion Church”. Literally. The charges? One of them is “foreign collusion.” (Which has NOT been reported in the U.S.)

Political lobbying in China falls under corruption or bribery laws, so groups like AIPAC (or CIPAC) are not allowed in China. That’s why Israel has been trying to build grassroot support in China with evangelism, but it seems like China has caught on and put an end to that quickly.

  7. DMC

TheZionists have made the comparison inevitable. The only differances are which kind of semites they wish to exterminate and the German Nazis had enough moral sense to try anf conceal what they were doing, while Ben-Gvir gets up on his hind legs and brags about having bitten the heads off 6 Palestinian babies before breakfast.

  8. spud

call them out for what they are, fascists.

fascism, the elevation of capital over sovereignty, over labor rights, or civil society and civil rights.

this has been the case in america since 1993. so if the mustache fits, call them out for what they are.

make sure that your audience understands why you are calling them out if the mustache fits.

In the early oughts when I taught across the curriculum to the unruly and tribal teenagers in this new agey enclave, I initiated an oral history project, which had limited local success. We interviewed a few prominent community members in their homes and businesses.

However, when I suggested taking it on the road and visiting a nursing home in a rural agriculture town I met resistance, and it failed to gain traction. I always remember one student saying, no way. Old people smell funny.

That person is now in his early forties and is much involved with a Buddhist community. I still run into him on occasion, but I’ve never brought up the incident and asked him where he stands now.

I still believe all parties would have benefited from the experience, but then I’m forced to reflect on my own motivations and activities.

Nursing homes are hell realms for the most part, especially in rural areas where they are understaffed and overcrowded. Many inmates receive no visitors, let alone a kind word. But I don’t go out of my way to visit one of those facilities, which is something my mother used to do by the way.

Someone I’ve known and respected for years is now in a care facility with advanced dementia, but I’ve yet to visit him. It’s an hour drive each way and I have to borrow a car and there are demands on my time and I heard there’s covid in the facility. Blah blah.

How altruistic is my mind set when it comes to the nitty gritty? I find myself wanting, and I do actual practices to cultivate compassion.

The point is, it’s not so easy to be caring in an uncaring world even with good intentions. (Yes, we know what the road to hell is paved with.) I still try to cultivate a big heart, like my dear departed mother had, but as I said, it’s not so easy.

Just a few Sunday morning reflections as I launch into the day . . .

When it comes to talking about Israel specifically, I like to avoid making comparisons to the Nazis. I do this for two reasons. First, I don’t want to potentially alienate Jewish people who oppose Israel’s Zionist regime and massacres of Palestinian civilians; they exist and are valuable allies. And second, it makes it seem like only the Nazis ever committed genocide, when the sad reality is that there have been many nations/groups throughout human history who have massacred civilians in large numbers and even taken it to the level of genocide.

    Couple random things . . .

First, very little garden report: In early August I had planted a different bunch of potatoes in a different little bed. About a week ago I dug them up. A shorter growing season, so fewer potatoes. Mostly the redskin kind. I note with interest that while the russets set potatoes randomly scattered out to a distance from the root-base, the redskin potatoes were clustered much closer to the root base. This would make them easier to dig up. Also, one plant produced 10 small potatoes plus 5 tiny embryo potato buds stuck onto roots near the root base. I will make a special effort to keep those potatoes alive till next spring.

At work: a few days ago I won an Employee of the Month Award. For training a trainee so well that when he did his first unassisted/unsupervised shift, he had zero problems. He attributed that to my good training. Would ” only a prole” even care about a thing like that? Well the more prole me then.

KT Chong – yeah, I’ve been wondering how Zionists will try to gain influence in China.

Israel & Zionists must recognize that the US won’t be willing or able to prop them up much longer, so it’s time for them to find a new Sugar Daddy. When US decline reaches some critical inflection point, Israel will probably try to trade some of their US Intel to China, but I don’t expect China to promise ‘undying support’, etc.

I also wonder if the Trumpian attacks on US Universities will lead to an ‘exodus’ of Jewish academics, going to Chinese Universities. (I grew up in Princeton, NJ, and many – maybe most? – of my close friends were children of Jewish Professors, presumably immigrants from Europe. Kids of WASPy Professors prolly went to the local private schools, which may have been ‘prestigious’ enough to still exclude Jews into the 1960s.)

OTOH, the use of the word ‘Zion’ in the name of US Churches does not *necessarily* imply support of Israeli Zionism. Many US Black Churches have ‘Zion’ in their name, as the story of the Jews’ Exodus from slavery in Egypt resonated deeply with the experience and dreams of descendants of former US slaves. OTOOH, those churches are probably not the ones sending Missionaries to China…

And here is a potential demonstration of a good use of social media to punish a bad actor, if it is used that way.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nextlevel/comments/1oyjjsc/youtube_streamer_known_for_harassing_strangers/

His face and name are now known to a potentially hostile internet viewership beyond whatever worshipful fans he has on his You Tube channel, which by the way I hope You Tube cancels and removes. One hopes he is denied service in every retail establishment he tries to go into.

( Meanwhile, I wonder how the Big Security Guy he hired to shield his nastiness to people was feeling about that the whole time. But in these times of economic danger and failure, a job is a job is a job. Is a job. )

This one just dropped a couple days ago on November 14, 2025 — from another humanoid robotic startup in China:

    MindOn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hawE2Qb62BQ

This is the best humanoid robotic butler/housekeeper yet.

MindOn is a fresh Shenzhen entrant, founded just months ago by ex-Tencent robotics engineers.

Their first model is called MindOne or Mind1. So I assume future models will be called MindTwo/Mind2, MindThree/Mind3, so on and so forth, (although IMO MindToo and MindTRI will be catchier names.)

Based on what I’ve been reading: it’s based on the stock Unitree G1 frame with their own proprietary AI — which is really the impressive part. Saw an interview in Chinese, and an MindOn’s engineer (?) said their first model is just a bootstrap, but their future models will be their own designs/frames.

My memory is still good but it works slower than it used to. Sometimes a day or two or three after I have thought about something on purpose, a relevant memory floats up to the surface of my mind the way a long stuck at the bottom of a swamp breaks free and floats up to the surface of the water.

In this case, the sunken memory which refloated to the surface was a memory of Elian Gonzales, the Magic Dolphin Boy.
    ” Elián González ” . . . . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eli%C3%A1n_Gonz%C3%A1lez

” The Myth of Elián, the Boy Who Was Plucked From the Sea
In 1999, little Elián González, surrounded by dolphins, was found drifting off the Fort Lauderdale coast. ”
    https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/the-story-of-elian-gonzalez-in-retrospect-11625579/

In briefest, Elian Gonzalez’s mother in Cuba kidnapped Elian Gonzalez from his father and took him with her on a non-seaworthy boat escaping from Cuba. It sank with all dead and unfound except for Elian Gonzalez. When he was brought into Florida, his ” Miami Cuban” extended family claimed control over him and refused to send him back to his father in Cuba who wanted him back.

This led to months of Miami Cuban running almost-amok, screaming demonstrations, legal wrangling, and finally Attorney General Janet Reno succeeding in getting Elian returned to his father on the principle of non-kidnapping and family non-separation.

I remember that after some months of this that the non-Cubans of South Florida were getting tired of all the uproar and began counter-demonstrating to “send him back”. The most interesting memory I have is that eventually Black and White South Floridians were demonstrating together to “send him back to his father”. They were even jointly waving Confederate flags to make their point and their had-enoughness with the Cuban demonstrations known.

And after Elian was sent back, I remember hearing of the chant: ” One down, 800,000 to go! ” chanted by Black and White people together, though only for a little while. And I can’t find a single link to a single thing about that aftermath of events. All I have is my memory.
